Barq's? BARQ'S?!?!?

That's not proper root beer. At the very least, you could have held out for IBC. And if you're ever here in NoVA (is there a Googleplex in NoVA that I haven't heard about yet?) the thing to get is Dominion Root Beer.

If you enjoy live sampling then check out Matthew Herbert.
He's done some of this with his big band, and it works pretty well (see http://www.amazon.co.uk/Goodbye-Swingtime-Matthew-Herbert-Band/dp/B00008XUQY/ref=pd_sbs_m_h__5/026-4319491-2159628)
Also his Bodily Functions album is worth listening to (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bodily-Functions-Herbert/dp/B00005B9JQ/ref=pd_bxgy_m_h__text_b/026-4319491-2159628).

Of all places? Ah Norfolk, land of long roads and wide sweeping horizons. Hethel near Wymondham, home of Lotus, erstwhile airstrip. 1940s runways put to 21st century uses. At last Wymondham shall have her place in history - well except for that thing with Robert Kett.

I absolutely agree that this is the right time to be seeing and discussing these things. We should be resolving in our own heads what we think. not waiting for a trite government summary of the situation to be fed to us. Or waiting for it to be so long ago, everyone can agree it was terrible, but "nothing like that would happen now of course". Wish I could see it.
